In my work, I like to tweak the ordinary into something bizarre or humorous. I am inspired by the ocean and the mysterious nature of the creatures that inhabit it. I am also inspired by the places that I have traveled and the things I have seen. Memories play an important role in shaping my imagery. I mix ideas from the past with those of the present to create strange, sometimes confusing situations. I want to share what makes me laugh, what makes me think, my interests and hopes, my superstitions, what I love, what I hate, and all in all, what I find simply ridiculous about life.
